Do your kids love you enough to share their plasmacar?

I work for Plasmacar, so was very pleased to be able to buy a couple of Plasmacars for my kids for Christmas (with a staff discount, of course:). Being a bit of a big kid myself, one of the biggest attractions for me, in buying a plasmacar, was the fact that it was sturdy and strong enough for me to ride on too. But do I ever get to have a go? Of course not!

Ever since these brightly coloured ride on toys arrived at the house, they’ve been well and truly dominated by my two kids. They are ridden nearly every day, outside when the weather permits, or inside when it’s raining. Luckily, we have an open plan living space, so they can happily ride around downstairs.

It’s now been a month since Christmas and the cars arrived, so I am silently hoping that the novelty will wear off soon, and my husband and I might get some quality plasmacar time! Unfortunately, there are no signs of this happening yet…

Of course I am very pleased the toys are so well loved, although I am beginning to think two plasmacars are not enough for our family! I never imagined myself wanting to buy a children’s ride on toy for myself, but I am now seriously contemplating it!!

I know that I’m not alone in my adult appreciation of the plasmacar, so please feel free to share your appreciation here too!

Plasmacar: the alternative Santa Sleigh

Getting the kids excited about Christmas is never too difficult, and we’ve come up with an extra special idea for giving your little ones a treat that they won’t forget easily (and will probably beg you for all over again next year).
A ride on Santa’s sleigh is something which may seem impossible for lots of children, but with a Plasmacar and a little imagination/creativity, the magic of Santa’s sleigh cab be recreated with no trouble at all. Simply follow our easy steps and your kids will be enchanted with this unique experience you’ll be giving them:
1) Decorate the Plasmacar with tinsel, which can be simply wrapped around, or attached with string.
2) Add reins with which to attach reindeer; any sort of rope will do the job.
3) Attach reindeer to pull the sleigh (yes, that’s you, Mum and Dad). Reindeer may need some encouragement to pull faster, so much tugging of the reins may be required.
With these tips, your sleigh will begin to take shape. If you really want to go all out, you could also add velvet cushions for Santa to perch on, wooden bars to stop him falling out as they career through the night sky…the possibilities are endless. Clear the way for this year’s Christmas toys

If you have children, and particularly if they are under 10 years old, chances are that your house contains more toys than your kids know what to do with. A pre-Christmas clear out is the perfect way to de-clutter the house (and your mind) and make way for Santa’s imminent deliveries.

Most kids have one or two favourite toys and then lots of toys that practically never get played with. So instead of hanging on to them, why not gather the least favourite toys up and take them to a local charity or orphanage. Many charitable organizations arrange for toys to be distributed to children at Christmas, and I for one will be taking advantage of this to create some well needed space and harmony in my house!

In an attempt to maintain a de-cluttered home, I have decided this year to adopt a ‘less is more’ attitude towards Christmas. I want my children to enjoy the festive season, but I would also like them to have a sense of appreciation for the things they receive. When faced with a mountain of toys, I think all sense of appreciation is lost. So I will be carefully choosing items that a) I hope they will find hugely enjoyable, b) are built to last and c) encourage healthy play.

The Plasmacar, for me, fits the bill on all counts. My children are aged 4 and 5 and this is the perfect Christmas gift. I am sure that they will have many hours of fun with it, and having ridden one myself, can vouch for the high quality construction and durable materials, so I know it’s a toy that will last. I think that they will have to have one each, however, to avoid any fights, but I think this will be a worthy investment, and even more so considering that the adults can enjoy it too. Roll on Christmas!

Plasmacar makes the perfect Christmas treat

As December creeps ever nearer, it seems our extremely organised friends have bought, assembled and wrapped presents for their whole family. Festive spirit is in the air, and it’s time to start thinking about gifts for the kids- we all know what a whirlwind this time of year turns into, and time flies without us even realising.
Ever popular with youngsters, and the young at heart, plasmacar can provide a safe, easy treat for the children in the family. Easy to put together, and of course no batteries required, there will be no frustrating wait between opening a wonderful, exciting gift, and being able to play with it whilst mummy and daddy just figure out what on earth fits into what…
And once it’s up and running, the plasmacar can carry the weight of the average adult quite safely, so fun for all the family (if you can get the kids off it for long enough). It may be an idea to keep the car outside to prevent scratches on or damage to laminate flooring or tiles, and of course there’s more room to get some speed up!
