After the frenzy of Christmas, the Plasmacar team are enjoying a calmer January, content in the thought that children and adults up and down the country are out enjoying their new plasmacars. Given the phenomenal success of the innovative ride on toy, we thought it was worthwhile taking a moment to consider what makes the Plasmacar so great.

Aesthetically speaking, the plasmacar is a beautiful and simple piece of engineering design. Sleek, bold and aerodynamic, it immediately catches your eye, and has a range of colours to complement the design perfectly. Kids immediately love them even before they get on.

The easy assembly is a great selling point for parents. Consisting of only six parts and accompanied by very clear and straight forward instructions, you really can’t go wrong with the construction of the toy. The quality of the product is excellent. It is built to be used, enjoyed and ridden for years. It has been built with both adults and children in mind, so it really is sturdy, and how many children’s ride on toy manufacturers can say that?

It is the eternal struggle of parents- being cool and being seen as hip to their increasingly embarrassed kids. How to tackle this problem is a tricky one. The options are few and far between: do you reach out to your kids with cool behaviour, or simply retaliate with equally mortifying acts (we have all seen the ad where the mother throws a tantrum in the supermarket). We at Plasmacar believe in reaching out to children, and gently helping them to understand that we, as adults, do still have good taste and judgement, showing them that we can choose “wicked” presents for them to enjoy. Not only will the children in your life be utterly impressed by your choosing the Plasmacar for any birthday or special occasion, they’ll be completely enthralled and entertained for a long time to come, and without even realising it, will be getting some of that pent-up energy out and put to good use. And who knows, you may have other, maybe not so “down with the kids” parents flocking around for advice…

The plasmacar acrostic challenge

This week, we’ve been practicing our poetry writing skills. And this is what we’ve come up with in the acrostic challenge!

Plasmacars are fabulous fun,
Lots of science behind those crazy wheels.
Adults and kids love to ride them
Silly old Dad looks crazy on mine!
Mum needs to find one, pretty darn quick
As it’s my best friend’s birthday only next week.
Call Plasmacar is what I’ll do, she says,
As they’re quick and efficient, and give service with a smile.
Ride on! I said, That’s a great idea,
David will be the envy of everyone.
Off I go to play on my car,
Twisting the wheel is how I go faster.
Organising races is my favourite thing,
Riding as quick as I can down the track.
GO, GO, GO! Shout my parents,
Don’t look back, you’re nearly at the finish line!
Only a few metres to go, and I’m nearly the winner,
Today it’s me! I’m in first place.
Up I go to receive my medal,
Kind of heavy around my neck.
